8 Steps to Positive Change
We work with a broad range of clients ranging from individuals to project teams, government groups, industry groups and organisations, corporates and communities.  In a general sense, I could probably argue that their needs are all similar - they are looking for a solution for positive change! Yes CONTENT is important, there is no doubt, however, from my experience, what is even more important is PROCESS.  I have learned one thing for certain and this is that CONTENT without PROCESS does not lead to any change.  And I also see costly mistakes being made over and over, organisations appear happy to pay for CONTENT only to find that no change occurs as there was no PROCESS to carry the change through.

Are You a Team Player?
Have you ever been on a committee, working party, board or work team where you have felt a degree of frustration and thought "this is a waste of time" or "I could do more on my own"?  Take comfort in knowing you are not alone.  However, teams or groups can build knowledge and skills of all involved to positively influence change for a long time to come.  This can be a family team, an enterprise, a community, a region, organisation or whole of industry.  All require a 'group effort' to achieve sustainable development and change.

Make Your Mark - Book Recommendation
Written by Margie Warrell, this book is a 10/10. I am often asked to recommend books for emerging leaders.  This one is top of the pile for now. From beginning to end it supports the reader to identify, reflect and put into place ideas and actions to create a meaningful life.  It encourages us to be brave in our thinking, set our 'why' and then put in place the actions to achieve this.  And it's a Guidebook, so thinking and writing are welcomed in each chapter.

10 Tips for Powerful Face to Face Presentations
Ever seen a fabulous public speaker - if you have then write down what it was about them that made them fantastic. I recently attended the Innovation Generation Conference and heard Fiona Simson (President of the Australian National Farmers Federation) speak.  I was totally engaged in her presentation.  Speaking in public can be a really fearful experience for many.  Here are some tried and tested tips to help.

Inspiration from Industry Leader
As part of a recent de-clutter project, I chose to clean out some papers in my filing cabinet. Glad I did as came across some notes from a presentation Mike Logan did as part of the inaugural Australian Future Cotton Leaders Program.  I remember the presentation as all the participants were quiet and their eyes were glued on Mike as he spoke. Mike was one of the first participants in the Australian Rural Leadership Program and was a Director on the Cotton Australia board in the early 2000s and we all knew he would have good things to say.
