2018 Australian Grain Leaders Announced

Participants for the 2018 Australian Grain Leaders Program (AGLP) have been announced.  National grain farmers representative body, GrainGrowers, announced the 11 participants and acknowledged it is pleased to have expanded the program for 2018 to include the whole of the supply chain in the grains industry. The 10th program will be launched in Canberra this week.  Jo Eady, Director of RuralScope Pty Limited and facilitator of this program said, "I am delighted to be facilitating the 10th industry leadership program for the Australian grains industry.  This years participants are from across most of the main grain growing regions of Australia, including Tasmania.  And we are heading to Tasmania after Canberra to visit two highly productive agricultural regions and see the best of the best in mixed farming enterprises.  And we will visit and be introduced to the leadership drivers of Tas Foods Ltd an innovative agricultural and food company taking the Tasmanian brand to the world.

Grain Leaders Engage with Industry

This year RuralScope facilitated the Australian Grain Leaders Program for Grain Growers Limited.  it is such a great program that supports emerging leaders further develop their leadership skills. This year participants came from almost all grain growing regions of Australia.  Each participant identified a real life issue which they developed into a project.  Throughout the year they applied their leadership knowledge and skills to these projects.  All achieved amazing results in their own growth and contributed greatly to their enterprise and industry. MEDIA RELEASE 5 Year Plan Established to Grow and Support Businesses in the Bush across Australia
An historic meeting of business minds took place in Brisbane city yesterday.  Eight leaders from across Australia gathered for the first Advisory Board meeting of The Rural Business Collective (RBC), a start-up company overseen by Founder and CEO Fleur Anderson from Theodore in Central Queensland.  The RBC mission is to facilitate and be a catalyst for growth in rural and remote Australia through support, networks, education and advocacy.  A key outcome of yesterday’s meeting was a 5 year plan for the Collective.
